FarEye, Delhi tech firm plans Europe expansion in New Year

Delhi-based logistics technology solutions firm FarEye today announced plans to expand its services in Europe in the New Year.With leading Belgian postal service TBC Post choosing the firm's technology services recently, FarEye said it was scouting for a European base in either the Netherlands, Germany or Belgium to open a new office to grow its business in the geography.

FarEye among 17 startups to watch in 2017

It's a new year, and as always the Indian startup story will have more twists.

FarEye is in the business of helping enterprises streamline their logistics operations. FarEye's product keeps hundreds of delivery agents and sales personnel connected, giving visibility to the company and the customer. Founded in September 2014, the startup claims to handle over 2.5 million transactions a day for 75 clients. In mid-2016, the Delhi-based company raised $3.5 million in Series A funding from SAIF Partners, after getting initial finding from IAN, and is looking to expand globally. "We don't want to be a vitamin pill that people take on and off. We are an essential drug that every company with field agents needs and must use to drive efficiencies," says co-founder Kushal Nahata.

FarEye platform stretches as far as Europe & Australia

FarEye, a mobility platform for business operations, has expanded to the Australian and European markets, partnering with Australia-based order fulfilment company National Products Fulfilment and Belgian private postal company TBC Post.

FarEye recently closed a Series-A funding round, with SAIF Partners being the investor. It has been working with companies like Blue Dart, DHL, DTDC, Safexpress, Walmart India and Bajaj Capital.

With the recent expansion, the New Delhi-based startup is now present in 15 countries. "The growth has been organic and exponential. Most of our business came from referrals from our clients," said Chief Executive Kushal Nahata.
