Consumers are more empowered than ever before and are in complete control. They are now accustomed to expect and demand better service at their convenience .

FarEye as a digital logistics platform allows businesses to define customer-centric process and cater to on-demand requests with its unique broadcasting feature. As soon as an order is received, the manager broadcasts the job hub-wise and/or location-wise so that the rider nearest to a delivery location can revert with order acceptance and the jobs gets auto-assigned to the available rider.

As people want their food typically within 30–45 minutes, it leaves only 20–30 minutes for delivery (assuming a 10–15 minute prep time). So the delivery has to be superfast or you have just lost a customer. One of the biggest problems in this industry is identifying the end customer’s location. GPS navigation may be good enough to guide one to a new location, but is never exact. Constant follow-ups, navigating using google maps, struggling with cash payments and of course, communicating with customers. The problems are far too many.

How do we create MAGIC

 

The manager can select the orders to be broadcasted and leave the rest to our intuitive module which identifies riders by running intelligent algorithms at the backend. The jobs are assigned in any of these ways:

 

Skill pool - to users who are skilled in a specific type of orders delivery.

FIFO - as per “first in first out” availability of riders.

ETA to the location-based assignment - to nearest riders.

 

Filters can be set for hub and latitude-longitude coordinates to broadcast orders for better allocation among riders.
